![]() GLACIER FROST (Benz) tet 36" ML. Dor. (Carried Away X Ida's Braid) With so many excellent gold-edged creams competing for market space, I was a bit reticent to introduce another. But…year after year this 6" beauty outshines all contenders for top spot in this class. GLACIER FROST is a true "crown-building" northern dormant, and in the spring the emerging ramets are huge and almost exotic in appearance. This one will survive over the winter bare-rooted on top of the ground and take root and bloom the following summer. Are TRUE dormants important? You decide! Blooms are round and flat, with a sparkling gold braided edge, heavy waxlike texture, and open perfectly regardless of cold nights. Plants are huge and lush, with arching blue-green foliage and big thick scapes with 3-4 branches and a terminal cluster, carrying 35 buds. Consistently re-blooms here in zone 6 and an easy parent both ways. Fragrant. FALL ONLY.. $150.00
