Petal color on this perfectly round bloom is softest shell pink with a halo done in slightly deeper rose-pink, and embossed with a beaded burgundy rose filigree border. Subtle, yet fancy and entire bloom appears molded from heavy porcelain. Plant habit is remarkably strong with beautiful large arching foliage and a superb candelabra branched scape with long sweeping branches that hold blooms up and out for a show-winning display. This is one of the best and most reliably branched scapes of any variety we grow, with 4-5 way branching and up to 45 buds.We have been fascinated with GLISTENING ACCENT since its maiden bloom, but were never quite sure how to use it to its greatest advantage. We have begun to use it with picotees like our own PICOTEE DREAM and PICOTEE VISION, as the halo fades to be almost non-existent after a day in hot sun, while 90º heat just makes the burgundy border more intense.
