GLISTENING SEASHELL (Benz)
tet 26" M. Dor. (Janet Benz X Tet. Linda Agin) Talk about luck! From exactly 100 siblings in the cross, this was the only hard dormant, and also the bloom that most resembled parent LINDA AGIN. Massive 6" blooms appear made from shell-pink porcelain and are laden with deep rippling ruffles so reminiscent of its pollen parent. A day in full sun brings out an inner glow and by late afternoon, blooms seem to glow and shimmer like a piece of "mother-of pearl" jewelry. On an established clump, as many as 25 of these magnificent 6" blooms are displayed nicely on 26" scapes with 2-3 lateral branches and a terminal cluster. GLISTENING SEASHELL is very important to all hybridyzers breeding for the color pink, but indispensable to the northern hybridizer. For the first time the wonderful TET. LINDA AGIN genetics are offered in a flower that actually looks like LINDA AGIN; is a winter-hardy crown building true dormant, and presented a beautifully branched scape. Always perfect; opens by dawn; very fragrant and consistently re-blooms. Fertile both ways, but a difficult pod-parent. FALL ONLY     $200.00
