GLISTENING PORCELAIN
(Benz) tet 28" M. Dor. (Janet Benz X Tet. Sabra Salina). From a difficult cross (blooms on T SABRA SALINA need to be picked 2 full days early for good pollen) came several beautiful seedlings, but there was only one GLISTENING PORCELAIN. This flower stood alone in a class by itself, and its sibs were immediately deselected. One of the heaviest substanced blooms I've seen in any color, and certainly our heaviest pink. 6" blooms with 3 1/2" petals, and 2 1/2" sepals and beautiful piecrust ruffling replete with fine gold lace and frills; and when the days are hot and humid, small red knobs are also apparent. Beautiful arching foliage, and thick, strong scapes with 3-way branching and a bud-count in the high 20's round out this portfolio. Our only tetraploid selection from the fabulous SABRA SALINA, and a favorite among garden visitors. To my knowledge, this is the only tet. SABRA kid in commerce, and your one and only chance to obtain these wonderful genetics. . Fertile both ways; pods are very difficult. First seedlings were gorgeous last summer. Fragrant. $100.00
