Substance is very heavy, yet blooms are always open flat. Throat is bright-green. Slow to increase, and top-branched with about 18 buds. A breeder non-pareil, producing flowers in all shades of red from deep rose to blood-ruby, with heavily ruffled white, not ivory, but snow-white, picotee borders.
