(Benz) tet 30" M. Ev.. (Red Apparition X Tet. W-29) This big 6" lacquered candy-apple red is a full sib to last year's sellout FIRST DEGREE. Although I love them both, I am partial to GLOWING JEWEL due to its incredibly deep glowing red color and the fact that this deep red and emerald green throat both hold in full sun, with no slicking, and little or no fading at all. Plants are huge and deep green, with healthy disease-free foliage. Never gets leaf-streak, and seldom even thrip damage. Top-branched, and bud-count is only about 20, but to see this daylily is to want it. Easily fertile both ways. Bloomed the most beautiful shades of red and green I¹ve ever seen when I crossed this with half-sib SCARLETT. $100.00
