tet 24" M. Dor. (Tet. Exotic Echo X Custard Candy) Upon blooming our first big crop of Tet. EXOTIC ECHO seedlings, we were surprised to see so many doubles emerge. Most were raggedy semi-doubles, and none, with the sole exception of CHAIN REACTION, were consistently double. I have watched this daylily for five years now, and have never seen a single bloom. In fact, in a well-grown clump, every bloom is as fully double as the one pictured. I've always loved the doubles, and have been enamored of the David Kirchhoff program for many years. Thus I am extremely pleased to be able to offer two double tetraploids as beautifully formed and as consistently double as CHAIN REACTION and RED BOUTONNIERE. Foliage on CHAIN REACTION is almost identical to its Stout medal winning parent, CUSTARD CANDY, with beautiful low arching blue green leaves, and short thick scapes; always exhibits one side branch, no more, no less.
