Evening Sparkle
tet 30" M. Dor. (Rain Dance X Crackling Burgundy) Deep velvety black-reds are not common, but when you see one this velvety and rich in color, combined with the form and substance of this flower, it demands a second look! Round, flat, and beautifully piecrust ruffled. On an established clump, blooms are enhanced by a wire edge of purest snow-white. RAIN DANCE has proven its potential time and again. In this cross, for example, we only had 4 seedlings to bloom, and EVENING SPARKLE far exceeded our expectations, being larger and darker as well as far more ruffled than RAIN DANCE, and far heavier than parent CRACKLING BURGUNDY. Big vigor- ous plants, with foliage, growth, and even scapes and branching like RAIN DANCE. That is, 3-4 laterals and a bud-count of 35- 40. Fertile both ways; pods are not easy Proving a great parent for heavily ruffled purples and blacks with white edges. $125.00 (Benz)
