(Bit More Class X Tet Siloam Harold Flickinger) True lemon-yellows have far greater garden impact than the polychrome- yellow blends, yet very few true yellows are now being introduced. Even among the true yellows LEMON DAZZLER is a standout. More than just another yellow, this beautifully formed 51/2" bloom posses- ses a seldom seen brilliance of color-a saturated glowing shade of deep lemon- yellow, and a vivid lime-green throat that radiates across the garden! These heavy, plastic-like blooms are engulfed in deep frilly ruf?es and so heavily diamond- dusted, that the blooms seem to shimmer and sparkle! My photo sadly fails to show either the width or ruffling on this cultivar at its best. In warm weather, blooms are incredibly flat and perfect, during periods of cool nights, a little less so. Plants are large and vigorous, scapes are straight, strong and moderately well-branched with one or two laterals and a bud-count of about 20. Fertile both ways, but pods are difficult. SOLD OUT
