The first 3 remain the finest overall, and LILAC GLOW is the best branched as well as the most ruffled of these. Also, posses- ses the most unique color-not a deep purple, but rather a shimmering true lilac of rare intensity and luster. An early mor- ning opener, and far heavier than most in this color, and, in fact, this 51/2" velvety purple seems to actually glow in hot sun. Dan Trimmer testified to its sunfastness in his Orlando, Florida, garden! Big, strong plants and beautiful erect scapes with 4- way branching and 30+ buds round out this impressive portfolio.
