![]() LACEY DREAM
(Benz) tet 30" M. Ev. (Janet Benz X Tet. Jedi Dot Pierce) CAN CAN GIRL may be the widest pink in this cross, but LACEY DREAM has always been my favorite and the fanciest and also the best parent of all the sibs. A full 6" bloom, with petals that measure 3 1/2"- 3 3/4" across. Very flat to reflexed in form, with heavy wax-like substance and done up in a pleasing shade of apple-blossom-pink with a deeper rose-pink halo and a large lime-green throat. Beautifully ruffled and the blooms seem to get bigger and prettier with each passing day…and as the nights grow warmer, the lacy gold edge grows until the flower just drips with gold. This pink sports the largest and fanciest gold filigree I've seen on any cultivar from non-edged breeding, and Pat Stamile was sure it was a seedling from Tet. CONNIE BURTON. A powerful parent and we are just now beginning to tap its potential. Crossed to pinks and pastels, LACEY DREAM has improved the form, substance and even the color of any cultivar it was crossed with, throwing gorgeous seedlings from ivory-white in color to the very most intense deep rose-pink we have seen. Last year we crossed this beauty heavily into our purple and red lines, and our expectations are high. Very fragrant; fertile both ways and reblooms here. $200.00
