(Benz) tet 34" M. Dor. (Iron Eagle X X Tet. Grand Masterpiece) This is our flattest, heaviest substanced, and most nocturnal black tetraploid-period! The 5" blooms open up nearly pitch black, but do fade a little to a rich black-burgundy by days end. Still, they are never slick, scorched or damaged in any way. Furthermore, IRON LORD takes after parent IRON EAGLE in that it is also unscathed by heavy rain. Water beads off this one like a newly waxed Mercedes. Plants are strong, but slow to increase, and branching is only moderate, with 1-2 laterals, and a bud-count of about 20 tops. Stock is low, and I an introducing this primarily for the breeder wishing to incorporate the heaviest available black tetraploid into his program. For substance and flat-opening in a black, I have seen nothing else that even comes close. $150.00
