Spotted by daylily connoisseur Gene Kepler in a bed across from OH, and he yelled out, if that's OH, this one must be O-2. And the name just stuck. This extravagantly ruffled, oversquare 5" bloom combines symmetry and perfection never before seen in a pink tetraploid. And as a breeder, it has exceeded all expectations. We were so enamored by the exquisite beauty of this bloom; it was used almost exclusively for 3 years, ignoring all our other pinks, including OH. The best face we have seen on a pink tetraploid, but comes with a medium small evergreen plant with a top-branched scape and only 15 buds. PINK FANTASIA will produce fabulous seedlings in all shades of pink, from near-white to deep rose, and even velvety reds and royal purples. We have future introductions in deep purple from PINK FANTASIA crossed to both IMPERIAL CONQUEST and IMPERIAL DECREE.
