FANCY-LIPS

(Benz) tet 30" M. Sev. [(Custard Candy x Tet. Dragon's Eye) X Tet. Sophia's Lips] The big sister to last year's LIPS OF DESIRE, this one is a larger flower and plant and a much fancier bloom as well. FANCY LIPS lacks the extreme contrast of its sib, but is a larger bloom at 51/2", and a more consistent bloomer as well. An attention getter just as shown, but last year in an established huge clump, these blooms just dripped with a lacy 14K gold edge and caught the eye of every garden visitor. As luck would have it, I didn't get a good shot, but maybe this year. Big strong scapes are wonderfully branched, with long, flaring, candelabra style branches and 30-35 buds. Fragrant and re-blooms. An easy parent both ways. $150.00
