PURPLE ROGUE
(Benz) tet 24" M. Ev. [(Tet. Super Purple x Angel's Smile) X Clothed In Glory] This 5" unruly bloom has perhaps the largest braided edge I have seen in this climate. Done in a pleasing shade of violet purple, this wide petaled beauty has ivory-gold teeth and knobs rippling in and out and all around the petals and sepals as well. Has proven a magnificent parent for braided edges, putting edges on the proverbial fence post. PURPLE ROGUE is mostly top branched, and bud count is only about 16, but I would expect it to go much higher in the South for 2 reasons. First, both parents have over 35 buds when established and second, Many of its seedlings have over 35 buds on tall well-branched scapes. Fertile both ways and needs no mulch despite fully evergreen plant habit.      $100.00
