MAGNIFICENT ROSE

tet 28" M. Sev.-Ev. (Pink Fantasia X Oh Great One) This beautifully ruffled 6" glowing rose is a wonderful melding of our 2 premier pinks. Reminiscent of a deep watermelon rose version of OH GREAT ONE, but taller, better branched and fully evergreen. A flawless performer, day in and day out, and never a bad or misshapen bloom regardless of weather. When nights grow warmer, a silver-white lacy border is often apparent, adding to the beauty of this magnificent bloom. Are we proud of this? You bet! I selected this as a personal favorite on its first bloom. I'd prefer better scapes and a dormant plant, but with 15 buds and widespread top-branched scapes, this is a showstopper in clump and remains in a class by itself. Exhilarating fragrance, presumable due to the multiple doses of Tet. BARBARA MITCHELL in her background. Fertile both ways; but a difficult pod-parent in full sun.
