Not our largest, or our most ruffled, but SAMURAI JACK is one of our most color saturated, velvety reds to date, and this wide, heavy bloom opens consistently regardless of inclement weather. The velvety ruby red bloom is enhanced by bright emerald green throat and is sunfast on our hottest days. Plants are big and lush, and have that deep, blue-green arching foliage we so admire, and vigor is incredible, allowing for extremely rapid increase. Scapes are strong and straight with 2-3 lateral branches and a bud-count of 30, blooming progressively, rather than multiflora, allowing for a very long and protracted bloom season.
