tet 24" M. Dor. (Alpha Male X Tet. W-29) A huge 6 1/2" crystal clear cerise-red with a large lime green throat over a white base. This bloom is both sunfast and rainproof here, and is always perfect and gently reflexed by dawn as shows. Scapes are straight and strong with 2 branches and a terminal and a total of 18-20 buds. Plants are large and dormant. Although I personally prefer the overlapped, circular form, I have become intrigued by the sheer size of Jamie Gossard's MEGATRON, and have started crossing THERMOPYLAE, VERTICAL LIMIT and MEGATRON in all directions. We even back to Van Seller's 8" masterpiece YULE STIR. The first of these giant red crosses will bloom this summer and I can hardly wait! Fertile both ways, and another FRAGRANT red tet.
