ULTIMATE WEAPON is endowed with a 3/4" sparkling 14k gold edge day in and day out, even when nights are in the 40's; requires no hot weather. Blooms are a full 6", with 3 1/2"petals, and are a clear diamond-dusted orchid-pink, with a huge lime green throat spreading out onto the segments. With the exception of our own VISION OF GLORY, ULTIMATE WEAPON boasts the heaviest substance we've seen in any edged variety, and the most perfect form. Very symmetrical and perfectly flat by dawn, and an extended bloomer, holding well into evening. ULTIMATE WEAPON is a rare true Semi-Evergreen, with foliage remaining 6" above ground all winter long, and sustaining no damage at all. Plant habit comes from CARRIED AWAY, and this forms a large, magnificent clump with arching blue-green leaves and thick, strong scapes with 3-4 lateral branches and a bud count of 28 or more. Extremely reliable re-bloomer, reblooming on nearly every fan, whether potted or in the ground. FRAGRANT! Combining more superlative features than any other edged variety we grow, and ULTIMATE WEAPON has proven a phenomenal parent, throwing a variety of colors from black-purple to ivory, pink, and even true reds.
